Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge 2020
When and where do I need to be?
Your adventure begins at a central meeting point in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales
Day 1 – Friday
Join the adventure at 6pm on Friday evening and travel to Brecon in tour transport. Enjoy an evening meal at a local pub with introductions being made and a safety briefing delivered. Travel to Pont ar Daf for a 10pm departure and ascend Pen Y Fan descending the for around 12:30am. Hot drinks and snacks.
Depart to Cadair Idris
Day 2 – Saturday
Arrive at Cadair Idris around 4am and ascend and descend via the Pony Path, arriving back at the car park at approximately 9am. Breakfast rolls and hot drinks will be ready and waiting for walkers on arrival at the buses.
Depart to Snowdon
Day 2 – Saturday
Arrive at Pen Y Pas around 11am and ascend Snowdon via the Pyg track. Victoriously conquering the summit and celebrating we will return via the Miners track where celebratory drinks and snacks will be waiting. We will then travel to a local Inn/Hotel where an evening meal will be provided.
Day 3 – Sunday
After a well earned sleep and a hearty breakfast we will depart around 10am and travel back in South Wales arriving around 3:30pm.
